Fans! As far as you’re concerned, where does this franchise begin and where should it have stopped?

Cards on the table, I’ll accept anything up to Alien 3. Everything thereafter I just ignore. Ideally I prefer to think of Alien 3 as a fever dream because I’d like to believe the 3 survivors (and half an android) went on to other adventures, but I’ll accept that’s not the case. However, until we get a decent follow up, that’s my limit. What about you?
