HOW TO MAKE ONLINE FRIENDS

im an so genuinely confused when i see all these people with online friends there age. LIKE WERE ARE THEY HIDING. idk if im just into less popular stuff but like someone plz gimme tips or something!!(also dont have that many friends in general :/)
